Moving

Hi everybody. I've been maintaining this blog for the last couple of years and decided that it was time to change things a bit and take it a bit more seriously. Now I have my own web server and domain that you can visit. The address is: www.glowingpix.com/blog
You will see only the latest photo when you enter the page but you can navigate to the previous one by clicking in the picture. Also, there is a link on the menu for a Gallery, where you can see an index of all the pictures published on the blog. Hope to see you all there!

Little of each camera

I've been experimenting with my different old cameras and here are some of the results:

The first picture is Mr. Isaiah and was taken with a Holga but using 35mm film instead of Medium format

Second picture was taken with the Argoflex Seventy-five which is a twinlens medium format camera in production from 1049 to 1958... and yes that is our house before we worked on the lawn an hour later.

Now we have a lovely picture of Stephanie taken with a Ansco box Buster Brown no.3 which went into production on 1910. The 120 film is too small to cover the whole area so I got some light leak from the little window for the counter. Now I know to cover it next time.

And last but not least, here is Brian playing in our backyard. This one was taken with the Holga like so many other pictures here so no explanation needed.

More Faire and Harvard

Ok I know that I am mixing these two, but I developed the rolls at the same time and I can't decide which one to post first so here is another of the Ren faire and of Harvard, NE.

More Holga

The obsession with the little plastic camera continues. I finally started developing my own black and white film at home and here are some of the first results.

Steph taking a last look at Norfolk the day we came back to Iowa permanently...

More Fun times at Palisades park. Yes, driftwood makes for great seats.

Mom, this one is for you. It's a month old by now, but I hope to have more soon, so you can see how fast the little guy is growing.

Goofing off at the gardens

We went this weekend to the gardens here at Ellis park and took some goofy pictures. I know most pictures are of the kids so this time I took some of the adults in the family... Although I use that word loosely =) Tita, Nael and Steph...

Our kids

There are so many new chenges around here that it would be imposible to name all of them in this blog, The most important is the expansion of the family. My two girls Steph and Mims moved in and I couldn't be happier. Here are some Shots we took this morning of the "kids" Gatsby and Mims (with my new portrait lens... God I love getting new toys!)

One more...

This goes to show that you can't hide even on a tree... people with cameras will find you...

New pictures in Medium format

This are the first pictures in a long time that are not from the digital camera. I got a small Holga medium format camera to take some black and white pictures and these are some of the results. They are not photoshoped. First Ian at the playground looking cranky...
